We are proud to announce that our PhD student, Leonardo Sito, has been awarded the Best Student Poster Prize at the prestigious International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC’25). Leonardo is leading his research activity at CERN under the guidance of Prof. Breglio, and his work continues to make a significant impact in the field.

His award-winning poster, “Metamaterial absorbers for beam-coupling impedance mitigation,” was recognized for its innovation and contribution to accelerator physics. This distinction, earned among 175 student posters, highlights the relevance and excellence of his research.
